M Squared Partners LLC, a California limited liability company, was formed in June 2006 to sponsor special-purpose entities to acquire, rehabilitate and reposition multifamily housing projects of typically greater than 100-units in select markets in the Western United States notably, California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.  M Squared is focused on properties with challenging financing, management or physical characteristics that present value creation opportunities though rehabilitation and repositioning, creative financing, intensive management and unique business strategies. These properties are often financed with tax exempt bonds, tax credits, and public-private joint venture funding.  To date, M Squared has sponsored three special-purpose entities that have acquired three properties totaling 1,701-units.
